Mary Ellen,
I have read a lot about the Reverend Joseph Rhea and about the John Rhea
(never married) who was in the National Congress at the same time that my
third great grandfather, Governor and District Judge, Matthew Harvey of New
Hampshire was in the National Congress. I would think that that lineage
would have been related to my Rhea lineage, but not the direct line. They
all were Presbyterians. My first Rhea in New Jersey was Robert Rhea married
to Janet Hampton. 2. David Rhea and Ann_______; 3. John Rhea and Mary Smith;
4. John R. Rhea and Emelie Rosa Raoul (He married Hulda Montgomery first in
Philadelphia, PA in December 1780); 5. Ann J. Rhea and Frederick Rowe Harvey;
6. Rhea Harvey and Ophelia Victoria Rogers; 7. William Frederick Harvey and
Mary Adelaide Boykin; 8. Sarah Agnes Harvey and Joseph Warren Henagan, 8. and
(me) Martha Henagan and John Franklin Luby.
Someday maybe all of these Presbyterian Rheas from Scotland and Ireland
will connect. Martha Henagan Luby ( )
