I received the Digest today and see what Robert Rhea means about being

Page 7, #63- AUGUSTA CO., VA DEED BOOK 16, 113-116.*Lease and release dated
October 16 and 17, 1769, respectively, and both were recorded October 18,
1769. In 1795 they were delivered to Hugh Rhea, one of the two living
children.

#64- AUGUSTA CO., VA DEED BOOK 13, 338-341.*  Lease dated and recorded on May
21, 1767; the release was dated May 22, and recorded May 21, the day before!
John Wilson,Gent. To William Reah, 600 acres on Elm Creek, ‘a branch of the
Calf Pasture River.” William subdivided the land in 1775, selling tracts to
sons, William, James and John (Ref. 65).

#65- AUGUSTA CO., VA DEED BOOK 21, 5-16.* Leases and releases dated and
recorded in February and March, 1775. William Jr., purchased 300 acres
(pages 5-8), James, 125 acres (pages 9-13), and John, 110 acres (pages
14-16). The deeds located the tracts on Mill Creek, which was Elm Creek in
the deed of 1767 (Ref. 64).

#66- AUGUSTA CO., VA WILL BOOK 5, 196-198.* Will of Archibald Reah/Reagh,
Jr., son of William. Dated November  November 1, 1773, recorded March 15,
1774. Mentions his “dear children” and names his wife, Margaret  and "my
uncle Archibald Reah” executors. Witnesses were William Rhea, Michael
Coulter, and James Clark. Margaret and Archibald were bonded to make an
inventory of the “singular goods & chattles & credits of the said deceased.”

#67- Robert Rhea’s Family Bible.* Son of William and Elizabeth (Clark) Rhea.
            Page 1:“William Rhea his Book Price Price (?) William Rhea.
Robert Rhea his book price18-6 bought on 17th September 1802. (?) James Rhea
born Thursday the 25 April 1799. Nancy Rhea born on Thursday the 19th March
1801.Elisabeth Rhea born on Wednesday the 7th of September 1803.  Hannah Rhea
born on Saturday the 5th of April 180__ [1806 only year  between 1803 and
1809 when 5th April fell on Saturday]. Ann Rhea born on Tuesday the 4th of
April 1809. David Rhea born Thursday September 12th,1811. Archibald Rhea born
June the 5 Friday 1818.”
            Page 2:“Father William Rhea departed this life the 25th April
1802. Brother Archibald Rhea Departed this life the 5th October 1773. Brother
James Rhea Departed this life the 27th November 1795.  Mother Elisabeth Rhea
departed this life the 18th day of July 1805. Daughter Elisabeth Rhea
Departed this life the 21st day of July1805. Father Robert Rhea departed this
life October the 31th 1834 age 75 years. Mother Catherine Rhea departed this
life September 21st 1856 Age 81years ten months and 9 days.”
