In a post dated May 15, 9:46 PM, Pat inadvertently missed a line or two
at the end of the first paragraph, regarding Hugh and John Rhea, sons of
Archibald & Margaret. It should read:

"Hugh married Rebecca Smiley, daughter of Walter Smiley, on June 2,
1796.[70] By 1804 they were living in Tennessee.[62] John married her
sister, Mary Smiley, on January 2, 1801.[71]"

Note: As for Hugh & Rebecca, the date given in the article is the bond
date and may have been the date of marriage. They were married by John
Brown, Presbyterian. The date for John & Mary is the bond date. As far
as I know, the date of the wedding is not extant. The bond or license
and marriage date were usually not far apart.
