Hi Listers:

Does anyone have information on Ellison T. Rhea and his descendants in
Jasper Co., MO? Here's what I know about him:
Ellison T. Rhea, son of John Rhea and Jane "Jany/Jinney" Cameron, was born
16 Dec 1838 in Monroe Co., TN. He was the grandson of Jesse Rhea and
Margaret Blair and the great-grandson of James Rhea and Mary Paul.

Ellison T. Rhea married about 1863/1864 in Monroe Co., TN to Elizabeth
(prob. Williams). The family moved to Jasper Co., MO in 1870; lived in
Carterville from 1883 until his death there on 6 Dec 1912.
Children:
Ella Rhea b. abt 1865, Monroe Co., TN, married W.L. Harman
Hugh Rhea b. abt 1867, Monroe Co., TN. Lived in Fresno, CA
Tennessee/Tennie Rhea b. abt 1870, Monroe Co., TN, married a Connell
Minnie Rhea b, abt 1762, Jasper Co., MO, married James Eaton
William "Will" Rhea, b. abt 1875, Jasper Co., MO. Lived in Carthage, MO
Coe Rhea, b. abt 1879, Jasper Co., MO

The family was counted in the census (5 June 1880) of Webb City, Jasper Co.,
MO, where Ellison T. Rhea was listed as doing lead mining. There were three
boarders in the household: Jonathan King, Levi Stanks and Henry Jones.

Ellison T. Rhea 's first wife died in 1891 and he remarried in Jasper Co.
(second wife's name unknown).

I have several photographs of this family, and have extensive records on
Ellison T. Rhea's parents and siblings, etc. I'll be happy to share any
information I have.
