The date of John Rhea's birth is on his tombstone in the Rhea Cemetery near
Fayetteville, Lincoln Co., TN. John Rhea Feb 23, 1776; Feb 5, 1839 in the
68 year of his age. Sally Rhea is buried beside him with the dates - Dec 24,
1776; Aug 19, 1847.

I wonder if he was married to Sarah Harris in Grainger Co., TN in 1797. Any
ideas?
I have mentioned that John's wife was Sarah, but I did not say Sarah Scales.
I seem to remember seeing Sarah Scales in my records, but the marriage was
about 1827, and I cannot remember if it was to John Rhea. If it was, she
could have been a 2nd wife.
