Hello list! I am searching for info on Mary Jane RHEA (b1846 TN) -my
g-grandmother who married James NELSON (b1848 in NC) in Greene, CO, TN. In
the 1880 Greene, CO census Mary's mother is listed as Margaret RAY. (Could be
RHEA) Margaret's maiden name is unknown but could possibly be WELLER due to
the info found in the 1850 census shown below and other records. But nothing
set in cement. Margaret's husband's given name is also unknown. Margaret
and Mary's ages of the correct match.
I have marriage record for Mary and James but not the License. I also
have the names of the 10 children of Mary and James NELSON and some their
descendants.
Is it possible that someone else could shed some light on this, one way or
the other?
Thanks Joe (hope no one is confused by all this gibberish)

John WELLER, b- in Germany who is in the 1850 Greene Co., TN census as
follows.
John WELLER age 81 M b- Germany
Susan -----------75 f b- Penn
Children
[1] Eve -------------41 f Burnet
[2] Margaret --------33 f Burnet <
[3] Susan -----------27 f Burnet
[4] Martha E. -------11 f Burnet -----idiot
[5] Mary J. ---------4 f Burnet <
[6] John A. ---------4 m b-Tenn
[7] Margaret --------1 f b-Tenn

My questions are, was Margaret [2] married to a "RAY / RHEA" and
was Mary J.[5] her child? I believe this Mary J. to be my g-grandmother who
married James Nelson Nov 4 1870 in Greeneville, TN because of info I find in
1860 and later census. Can someone give me more info on any of these
people? Thanks Joe Nelson
