Hello everyone, John Rhea probably b abt. 1760 and his wife Febra are who I am looking for. Febra is a name I found in an old letter, not proven. These Rheas ended up in the Hawkins/Hancock/Claiborne area of TN.
And Dr. Bob good to hear you are alive and kicking, last I heard you were in India and they had that BIG earthquake.
Researchers tell me that no one lived in the above counties in the 1760's, only longhunters, Indians and a few white people scattered here and there because of the French and Indian War. Sooo I am thinking, if that is right then my Rheas had to be in another settlement then made the jump to TN. Just can't seem to connect him with any on the others.
