I have not posted in a while so I will try again for a link. ANyone who
recognizes these name pleae respond.

I have a George Washington Rea b 4 Jun 1807 married Hannah Stillwell(b 18
Apr 1810) m 30 Jan 1830. Have Following Children Richard Franklin, 18 dec
1830(NC), To(a)litha EAmeline b 27 Oct 1832(NC), Martha b 5 Jun 1836(Ga),
John R b 1 nov 1837(Ga), Albert STokes b 1840 (Ga), Mary Ann b 17 Jun 1842
(Ga), Nancy Adeline b 1846 (Ga), Margaret Minerva b 17 Jan 1848(?), George
Washington Jr b 18 Sep 1850 (MS), James Milton b 27 Aug 1854 (MS)

I have a copy of the 1803 Mecklenburg census p 327 Geo W Rea, next to that
a Thos S rea, Jno M Rea, then about 4 down a Green L Rea, Are there any
connections to these Names? I cannon link him to any of the Reas in
Mecklenburg couty so far.

I have reports of his family moving to Ga with the STillwells then later to
MS enroute to Texas but decided to stay in Ms. He arrived in MS as a
stonemason and built several chimneys for folks around here and did some
farming. Help found the Methodist Episcopal church at Sandtown near
Philadelphia, MS. Don't know if, how or when went from Presbyterian(sp) to
Methodist. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
