This from the book "Rev. Hezekiah Balch, D.D. 1741 - 1810: A Biography" by
Leah M. Brown (1988) on page 52:

"The widow, Anne Luckey Balch, continued to live in their home until some
time after the 1830 United States Census was taken. At that time she was
tabulated with two females, one between 15 and 20 years of age, the other
between 20 and 30 years of age. The latter was probably her bound servant,
Dorcas Lewis, who would have been about 25 years of age in 1830. There were
no males in the household which indicates that her foster son, Seth J.W.
Lucky, had left. He was married in 1831 in Sullivan county, Tennessee, to
Sarah Rhea, daughter of Joseph Rhea and Frances Breden. They made their
home in Jonesboro. Mrs. Balch went to live with them during her last ears.
She died in their house in 1835, aged seventy-two, having had no children."

[Anne Luckey was Rev. Hezikiah Balch's second wife; they were married on
April 5, 1808 according to author Brown (page 49)]

Now let's go to page 227 of the 1830 census; here's the link ...

>From the beginning of page 227:

Wyly, J.W.
Rhea, John
Rhea, Robert
Balch, Ann
...

I apologize for the disjointed nature of these Greeneville Rhea posts, but I
am not able to find large segments of time for this research. :-)
