Subject: Ray/Story

I saw your post on OKGEN list, and wanted to let you know that one of the
Logan Co Gen Soc members, Odessa M. Ray, was a dedicated Ray researcher. She
is now deceased, and all of her genealogy material was willed to our society.

Odessa published the Crescent Cemetery book before she died, and there is a
STORY burial as follows:
STORY, Double stone "STORY-MURPHY", Row 1 in the north section, S1/2/N1/2 of
lot 576. The lot was purchased by M. Story and Z. Murphy. the burials are:
STORY, Mary Ann 1895-1980 (maiden name Lovell) on double stone with Zephia
Murphy, mother and daughter. Zepha Murphy, 1913-1984 (maiden name Story).

There are two couples of Ray burials in Crescent Cemetery, and other Ray
burials in Logan County.

There were 6 Ray men who are listed in the 1900 Farmers of Logan County
directory. In the same directory is listed: STORY, Henry L., Southeast
quarter of Section 13, Township 18, Range 3 West, which would make his 160
acres southwest of Mulhall in Logan County.

I hope this helps a bit.
