Pat,

It's a long shot, but it may be worth your effort to check further into the
Cumberland Co., KY, records for your elusive THOMAS RHEA. His sister,
ELIZABETH, who married her cousin, ROBERT RHEA, had an Adair County address
in 1803, one year after it was organized from Green County (see Rockbridge
Co., VA, Deed Book E, pages 227-29). Cumberland County, organized from
Green Co. in 1799, borders Adair Co. Might THOMAS RAY be your THOMAS RHEA?
The proximity of Cumberland Co. to Adair, Green, and Barren Counties, and
the rather large number of Rheas living in the latter three would make
further research worth your attention. The last known address that I have
for your THOMAS and MARTHA (RHEA) RHEA is Barren County, KY, in 1805, when
he granted the power of attorney to his uncle, WILLIAM RHEA, JR, (Barren
Co., KY, Deed Book A, 242-3).
