I just read your letter to Polly Dixon and found it very intresting.I am
searching for my great grand father.I don't know what his name was but
do know that my grand father charles william was from the kansas city
area and married Nanny jackson Jeffries 26 feb 1896 in kansas city.He
was a railroad man with the kcs railway and they lived up and down the
west side of arkansaw before setteling in shreveport were I was born on
20 feb 1927.My father charles e. rhea was also an enginer on the kcs.Th
only census that I have found was in shreveport 1920 AND at that time he
was 48 years old and would make his birth be about 1872.
What I would like to know in all of your research have you run across
any of this bunch.
my father charles elbert rhea 24 feb 1896
uncle thomas richardson rhea 1899 mo.
uncle willard stewart rhea 1907 shreveport
there were two others that died early but I am just trying to get back
in time to find out something about my great grand parents came from and
who the were.
If you have some info on these people it would be appreciated
