No, I don't mind you sharing it with the Rhea/Ray List. I belong to several
lists so I know how sometimes a little information can be of help. I'm glad
to see you were able to match something up with Martha & Samuel.

I got my book out and typed the information below just how the book had it.
Will Abstract

RAY, JOHN - will dated 2 Aug 1851.
Wife, Elizabeth. Four Children: May, Catharine, George and Elizabeth.
Wit: Triphone Kirklan, Drusilla Holland, John Potter, and Benjamin Holland.
Recorded 3 Feb 1852. (B-128) Exrx., Elizabeth Ray. Sec. Robert Prather
and Benjamin McCrary. 3 Feb. 1852 (B-135)

RAY, MARK - will dated 22 Jan. 1852
Wife, Mary Ray - home farm, and also part of land I got from Daniel McRay.
If my son Chesly Ray, now in California, returns. Son Iven Ray, son Columbus
Ray, son Hamlin and John Thomas Ray, daughter Cassandy - my five sons and one
daughter:
- Chesley, Ivin, Columbus, Hamlin, John Thomas and daughter Cassander. Wants
Ransom Ridge to attend to business until son Chesly Ray returns from
California.
Wit: Isham Nance and Martin Embree. Recorded 9 Feb 1852. Exr., Ransom

.......John Ray came from N. C. in 1838; he died in 1857. G.W. Ray, his son,
became a merchant of Arnoldsville. ... (then it goes on to talk about other
settlers)
