UK POST OFFICE ARCHIVES.
------------------------
http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/Indexes/POST.txt
The following list of names has been extracted from a number of
sheets of data that have been received from the Post Office Archives.

The records consist of "Appointments" and "Pension" and the
listing below shows in the KEY column which type of record the entry features
in - "A" = Appointments & "P" = Pension records. P.1904 means pension records
for 1904 and A.1898 is appointments for 1898.

In transcribing these records some abbreviations have been made
as follows:- C.W.W. = Certified Wireless Watcher.
C.W.O. = Certified Wireless Operator.

The other 'initials' have been transcribed as written but it
should be added that some were not easy to decypher. No guidance can be
offered as to what some of these initials mean.

Please bear in mind that the following list is just
representative of what is available at one's first request for information.
