Subject: [RHEA-L] TN, AL, MO HELP!!

Here are my elusive Wray/Ray family that I've all but given up hope on.

If someone can see any connection or have any info. I would very much
appreciate it!!

Didimia Wray: we speculate was born around 1805 and according to census
records was from TN (whether born there or not I do not know)

Didimia was the wife of William Tipton and they were married in 1824 in
Morgan Co. Alabama.
The marriage record there has her name spelled as Wray.

I know that She and William went back to TN before 1830 and that Didimai's
mother died in Wilson Co. TN in 1835 (NOV)

I found the will and will abstract.

Didimai had siblings that are named in the will...they are: Carroll, Miniah,
Nicholas Preston, and Issac. They were all minor children in 1835

The person who the will is for was called Ealy Wray. It indicated that Ealy
was a female...but we have not proven this yet and so far have not found any
other info. on Ealy.

Didimia's siblings were very much younger than her.....leaving me to believe
that there may have been two marriages.
But Ealy does state in her will "To my Children" which Didimia is included
in.

Carroll, Miniah, NIcholas Preston, and Issac all went to live with Daniel
Glenn under his guardianship and eventually Daniel Glenn removed to Sumner
Co. TN

Didimia and William Tipton re-moved to MO.

I had a lookup done for the MO census records. Hoping that were Didimia's
parents had come from would be listed on there....but alas..no luck.

Who was Ealy WRay??? who was the spouse of Ealy Wray?

What happened to Carroll, Miniah, Nicholas, and Issac??

I need all the help I can get on this one!!

Thanks
Julie
