Subject: [RHEA-L] Joseph Rea/Rhea from Grundy Co, TN

There has been alot of discussion on the John Ray/Wray/Rhea, etc line
and thought I'd throw in another Rhea. I had been working on this
family 20 years ago, but gave up after encountering so many Joseph
Rea/Rhea's. But with the internet access I am trying again. I am
trying to connect my Joseph Rea/Rhea etc to Moses Rhea of Warren County.
My Joseph was born in 1807 or 1808 in TN, and lived in Grundy Co, Tn
until his death in approximately 1852. Grundy Co, I believe was formed
from Warren County. Joseph's children were James Jefferson Rhea, Frank
Rhea, Byram(n) Rhea, William Rhea and Martha Rhea, as shown in the 1850
Grundy Co. census. I do not know Joseph's wife's name. I am the
descendant of James Jefferson Rhea who ended up in Texas and Ok. Is
Joseph Rea/Rhea the son of Moses Rhea of Warren Co as I've been told and
is his father, John Ray/Rhea? Does anyone have any information
regarding this Joseph Rea/Rhea?
