"P-216. Land Grant. The State of Tennessee No. 6795.To all to
whom these presents shall come, Greeting: Know ye that by virtue of part of certificate No. 95 dated the 9th day of July, 1807 obtained from the Board of Commissioners of West Tennessee by Martin Armstrong and entered an June 3, 1808 by No. 500 there is granted by the said State of Tennessee unto John Rea assignee of the said Martin Armstrong a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres in Warren County in the third district on the raters of Rocky River. Beginning at a black walnut tree marked W. 1-1. standing about forty poles northeast of the cabbin that Robert Tidwell formerly lived in near a blacksmiths shop thence east one hundred and sixty poles to a white oak on the side of a mountain thence north &long the side of said mountain to a scalybark hickory on the side of the mountain thence west one hundred and sixty poles to a black gum standing in a low place theme south one hundred poles to the beginning. Surveyed June 13, 1809 by John A. Wilson D. S. Title guaranteed.In witness whereof Willie Blount Governor of the State of Tennessee hath hereunto set his hand and caused the great seal of the state to be affixed at Nashville an April 1, 1815 and of the Independence of the United States the Thirty-Ninth.
