Hello, I am very excited and hope you don't mind my sharing my new
found information with you.
I have been researching my RAY family out of Roanoke County, Virginia
into Daviess County, Missouri for sometime now. My GGGrandmother,
Sarah A. RAY married Granville H. MALLORY. I have just found a
bit of information about Sarah's younger brother, Anderson Taylor RAY
born in 1850.
A fellow researcher from the Daviess County, Missouri mailing list wrote
and told me that there was a "Bed and Breakfast" by the name of "The
Ray Home" in Gallatin, Daviess Co., if I was interested that was on the
National Register of Historic Places. I finally found more info and hit
the jackpot as there is a photo of it too.
