My John Rhea/Rea had a son, John Rhea/Rea. I don't know anything at all
about this son, not even his birth date. Do you think your Pherby could
be the son's daughter?

My John Rea was probably still in Patrick Co., VA., in 1787 or so. So
maybe if he had a son born in 1760, this son could have married in
Patrick Co., VA., and had children there?

I'm not sure when he left Patrick Co., VA., but he seems to have been in
Grainger Co., TN., by 1797 and probably stayed there until at least 1801.

John's son, Aaron, had married before 1796 to Nancy Howell who was also
of Patrick Co., VA. I don't know for sure exactly when or where Aaron
married but daughter Dicey was born in 1796 possibly in Patrick Co., VA.

Interestingly enough, I have another Rhea line and not sure if it's
connected to this Rhea line or not but. . . My Ezekiel Rhea married
Elizabeth Pryor. They also came from Virginia somewhere but as yet I
don't know where.

Ezekiel and Elizabeth lived for a time in Warren Co., KY., but
Elizabeth's Pryor family lived in Logan Co., KY. Just too many
coincidences for there not be some relationship here. Ezekiel finally
died in White Co., TN., which is not far from Warren Co., Tn. Ezekiel's
son, Sebird Smith Rhea, had a daughter, Mariah, who married Reuben
Perkins. Reuben Perkins was the son of Levi Perkins and Lucy Rhea,
daughter of John and Mary (Bolin) Rhea and sister to Nancy (Rhea) Cooper
and Mary Brazeal and aunt to Dicey Rhea (of the Mormon record) who
married William Gantt Perkins.
