I think that the year that Pherby was born is at the same year that Elias
was born. They might have been around the same age. But, the census says
that she was born in Virginia. You can find them in the Blount County, AL
census starting from 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870. I think that Pherby died
in after 1860. I have not found any records or headstone for the death date.
In Blount County, Al the surname was spelled Brasseal(e). They moved to
Alabama with the families of Barnes, DeLoach, Boykin and other families that
tie into the web.

I will be home this afternoon and check my notebook.

Do you think that there is alot of John Rheas in this time period we are
talking about? Could Pherby be common name used in the Rhea family?
