Looking back at my records I noticed something about the name Perkins. After
Sophia's mother widowed in Persia, Sarah Jane Rhea returned to America with
an old missionary, Dr. Perkins. Perhaps Sophia dones not bear the middle
name Perkins from that of an ancestor but that of an old family friend.
