Now this is going to be a long story so bear with me:

Nancy Rieves Cooke above was the daughter of Robert Fielding Cooke.
Robert Fielding Cooke was the son of William Henry Cooke and Mary
Cantrell.
William Henry Cooke was the son of Robert Cooke, the Revolutionary War
soldier, and Susan Burch Watson.

Estes Kefauver was descended from this line.

Now to the Rhea connection.

Robert Cooke's and Susan Watson's daughter, Nancy Cooke (& sister of
William Henry Cooke), married my ancestor, Sebird Smith Rhea. Sebird
Smith Rhea was the son of Ezekiel Rhea and Elizabeth Pryor. Sebird and
Nancy (Cooke) Rhea died in Mercer Co., MO.

I have not definitely found the father of my Ezekiel Ray/Rhea but would
like to prove that he was the Ezekiel mentioned in the will of Moses
Wray who died about 1802 in Franklin Co., VA. Franklin Co., VA., is very
close to Bedford Co., VA.
