Hi all,

Trying to find info. on this family:

The nuncupative will of Ealy Wray. Ealy Wray of the county of Wilson
>and state of Tennessee, did in the presence of Milton Taylor, Martha
>Taylor and Mary Howell did the 29th day of October 1835 about one hour
>before her death, having a knowledge --- neighbours, and answering
>questions satisfactory so far as was asked, makes the following
>disposition of her property. First that her just debts should be paid
>and that her black woman, Ruth and her son Jim an infant should be sold,
>Ruth has the priviledge of choosing her master. That which was left
>after paying the debt should be equally divided between her five
>children, Deddima, wife of Wm. Tipton, Carroll, Miniah, Isaac, and
>Nicholas. This being committed to writing the 1st day of November 1835.
>
>Test: Milton Taylor & Mary Howell

Nicholas is Nicholas Preston Wray

Deddima is Didimia Wray Tipton wife of William Tipton and my connection.
William and didimia did not take the other children when Ealy Wray died.
Instead they went under the guardianship of Daniel Glenn....in this document
Ealy is named as Ely Wray.
In another will abstract that says pretty much the same as the one above
Ealy is named as Aley.

Didimia Wray Tipton and husband William Tipton relocated to Missouri by
1840.

Anyone connect??? or have info.

Julie
