The 1840 census lists ages in this order:
Heads of Family
Males under 5 years
5 - 10 years
10 - 15 years
15 -20 years
20 - 30 years
30 - 40 years
40 - 50 years
50 - 60 years
60 - 70 years
70 -80 years
80 - 90 years
90 - 100 years
100 + years
The same order is for the females. I will separate the males and females with
an "*".
