QRYTEXT: My 2nd great-grandmother was Sarah E. Rhea who married Chester
Sanford. She was born in TN or possibly NY and Chester was born in NY. She
died around the early part of the 1900's probably in Austin, TX. Sarah and
Chester had two children, Edward Owen Sanford and Effie Sanford. Edward was
my great-grandfather. He was born in 1873 in Louisville, KY. His sister,
Effie, died in Austin, TX in 1891. He died in St. Louis, MO in 1918 and is
buried in Austin. Sarah is believed to have married again in Austin to a John
T. Housen. There is also some connection to a Frank M. Sanford in Austin. Any
help on these lines would be greatly appreciated. I think Chester may have
another given name, possibly Owen or Ross. Thanks..
