For Tracy and other REA, etc. researchers. From family records in
Jefferson County, IN public library and will of Robert REA, also pension
record S32474.

Robert REA, born 7 June 1762, Lancaster County, PA, died Madison,
Jefferson Co., IN 4 Nov. 1852, married Agnes (also called Nancy) PATTON,
born 7 November 1763 in PA, died Madison, IN on 29 December 1854. They
were married 7 January 1786, probably in NC where he was a Private in
Capt. James Harris NC Company; Capt. Wiley's Company, Col. Harris' NC
Company; Capt. Wiley's Company, Col. Henderson's regiment: served under
Captains Thomas Shelby, William Hutchinson; Samuel Martin, a part of the
time in Col. Wm. Polk's regiment. In Snipes Defeat at the Horseshoe
under General Sumter.

Children of Robert REA and Agnes/Nancy Patton were:
James Harris REA, b. 23 Dec. 1786
Jane REA, b. 6 June 1788 (died at age 3)
Samuel REA, b. 10 Feb. 1790
Margaret Houston REA, b. 7 Feb. 1792, m. Matthew H. Patton
Silas REA, b. 20 Jan. 1794
Matthew Patton REA, b. 20 Feb. 1796
John McCreary REA, b. 12 Jan. 1798, m. Margaret Swan
ROBERT RIGHT REA, b. 12 Apr. 1800
Agnes/Nancy Sissa REA, b. 11 June 1804, m. an Underwood
Martha/Patsy McCreary REA, b. 20 Aug. 1806.

This is from a DAR record so I'd document everything, however, the
references look good and should be easy enough to check out. Wish I
belonged to this family, but alas I'm still looking for my John
RAY/RHEA/REA/WRAY/REAGH, etc.
