Dorothy,
I have a John L. Rhea b. 1868 and in Knoxville in 1900, married to
Hattie Redwine also b. in 1868. There is another John L. Rhea in Knoxville
at the same time, who was Clothier who died in 1914 and left a large sum of
money )by 1914 standards) to relatives and friends. Some of those to whom he
left money have names that are found in Hancock County. He may or may not be
related to my John L. who worked for the railroad. Hope this helps.
