My guess is that you're going to find that your Phereba Ray is more
closely related to the John Rae and Polly (Mary) Bolin (Bolling) of
Warren Co., TN., than any of the other Rays in the area. This John is
the likely son of James and Joannah Rea of Henry Co., VA. I am still
working on this relationship. Probably this John Rea lived for a time in
Patrick Co., VA., and later maybe somewhere in North Carolina maybe
Chatham Co., NC., and then moved to Warren Co., TN. He was, as is said,
a Baptist minister so he could have lived a number of places.

I wonder if the Fareby who married Ezekiel Hudson lost her first husband
and then married a Brezzal? This Fareby appears to be the daughter of
the above John Rae.
