Monroe County, Iowa WPA Cemetery Records - Surnames beginning with 'R'

During 1937/38, Monroe County WPA workers audited all the known cemeteries
in the county and took a census of all adults buried in the county at the
time. I have not pursued the reason why children were not included. The
following page links contain the complete dataset from that audit. The
dataset compiled here has been entered in a database by Virginia Stewart
from copies of hand typed and alphabetized data procured from Sarah
Hindman. Sarah indicated that she received them from one of the original
auditors. No attempt has been made to verify all of the data, and we
presume that over 50 years of copies, new mistakes will have been
introduced and original mistakes propagated.
