Hello Rob and other Rhea searchers: Yes this is my line--but not my
immediate/direct line. My third great-grandfather was JOHN R. RHEA; his
father was JOHN RHEA ; mother MARY SMITH RHEA; JOHN'S father was DAVID RHEA
(son of ROBERT RHEA AND JANET HAMPTON RHEA) and his mother was Anne_________.
DAVID RHEA's father was ROBERT RHEA and mother was JANET HAMPTON RHEA.
JONATHAN RHEA: Son of ROBERT & MARY FOREMAN RHEA. JONATHAN RHEA: b. April
12, 1758; m. MARTHA MATILDA-----------. Children: 1. Gertrude Maria Rhea
wife of Major Hallet; 2. ROBERT IMLAY b. at Freehold, NJ, 1783; admitted to
Society of Cincinnati , July 4, 1816; d. Dec. 12, 1816 Charleston Harbor,
SC. 3. ________Rhea, married Garrett Dorset Wall (1783-1850).
In April of 1998, Charla A. Marchione ( (Charla A.
Marchione) had sent out 5 installments about this RHEA FAMILY OF MONMOUTH,
NJ. You might check with her about these installments. They enabled me to
find my Rhea line back several generations. If I calculate correctly,
JONATHAN RHEA (1758- would have been my 4th. great grandfather's nephew.)
