Scott,
Have you been over to the health dept on 49th and Lamar to get her death
certificate? There's a field on the death certificate for her parents
names, and other very useful information. Also, the Abilene Public Library
has a great genealogy collection - since Sweetwater's so close, they may
have Sweetwater newspapers on microfilm or the Abilene paper may have
carried the death notice... Also the Barker Center for American Studies at
UT has a bunch of old newspapers that might have an obit with her parents
names. Good luck!
