Dear Pat: More than likely this is my JOHN RHEA. My fourth great
grandfather was JOHN RHEA moving to Philadelphia from New Jersey. My third
great grandfather was JOHN R. RHEA, born in Philadelphia. Births and
marriages of siblings were recorded in records of the Second Presbyterian
Church of Philadelphia. I know that my fourth great grandfather was a
business man in Philadelphia and died there in 1773. He was married to Mary
Smith. John R. Rhea was born in 1762 and died in Clinton, LA in 1843. He
was in Philadelphia until at least 1802. He had married first in
Philadelphia to Hulda Montgomery. In 1777 John R. Rhea would have been 15
June 30. Could this be my John Rhea? (Martha Henagan
Luby)
