I haven't posted to this list in a long time, so in the hope that newcomers
have joined, I would like to pose another inquiry.

I'm looking for anyone who might be descended from Samuel Rea, Jr., b. 1792
in Washington Co., PA and died September 8, 1883 in E. Springfield, Pa. I am
particularly trying to prove that George Rea (1823-1888) is his son. I
believe Samuel's children are as follows:

George (1823-1888)
Penminah (1824-1826)
Edmond (1829-1896)
Spencer (1830-1892)
Matilda (1834-1904)
Mary (1837-1924)
Anna Maria (1841-1844)

A write-up on his life in Beers History says he had 8 children, so I would
like to get more information if anyone has any, and particular proof that
George is actually his son other than the fact they lived next door to each
other in all of the census records. Or do you think that is proof enough?

Also, is the name Penminah a man or woman? Thanks.
