Below is some more information about the above Joseph M. Rhea of Scott Co.,
VA.
I am sure he is connected to my Lindsey Rhea who married Nancy Sturgeon 30
Dec., 1825 in Scott Co., VA. Does anyone have any more information on these
Scott Co Rhea's?

[Source=Original Deed Book 1, p. 47, Scott Co. VA]: "1818 June 1st, Surveyed
March 18, 1819. Joseph M. Rhea enters fifty acres of land in Scott County
by part of a land office Treasury warrant No. 5938 dated 5th May 1817
Beginning at a white oak corner to the land he now lives on and adjoining
Henry Moor Thence with said Rheas line to the top of a hill, thence
Southwardly to James Smiths line then with the same thence eastwardly to the
north fork of Holstein river. Thence up the same to William Russells line
thence with his line eastwardly to a path crossing a hill near to the blue
spring thence west to said Rheas corner Joining John Peters line."
