At a recent Colonial Dames meeting I was given an article taken from the
Belfast News Ltr., dated Friday 10 June 1768.--

It would have been a kindness to have turned all those "f" letters into "s"
letters which was the original intent of the writer who's penmanship simply
reflected the current style of writing for that period of time.
