I came across something interesting. In the book 'McMinn County TN and its
People 11819-1997' an article submitted by Polly Dixon outlined the
descendants of Jesse and Margaret Blair Rhea. Their grandson, James Harvey
Dixon married Mary Ann Wright. Mary Ann was a descendant of Robert and Sarah
Bingham Rhea.

1.Jesse RHEA born 25-Sep-1778, NC?, married 7-Dec-1802, in Blount Co. TN,
Margaret BLAIR, born about 1783, MD?, died 10-Jun-1851, Monroe Co. TN. Jesse
died 10-Jul-1859, Monroe Co. TN. Had 14 children. They were in Monroe Co. TN
by 1834 Margaret: Daughter of John and Mary Blair.

TN, Mary Eliza HUMPHREYS, born about 1822. Oregon Donation Land Claims Vol.
II - Shows birthdate, place, marriage to Mary, its date. Aff. were Thomas
Turner, Wm Gilchrist, John McCullough, Washington Thomas. Arrived Oregon 19
Sept 1853, SC 1 Mar 1854. Lewis was affiant on the claim of Thomas M. and
Jane Humphreys. Thomas had arrived in Oregon on the same day as Lewis and was
born 1 Oct 1800. Probably Mary Eliza's parents. (Mary had married just 2
years before.).

vHarvey RHEA born about 1830, TN?. Feb 1872 Harvey sold to Onslow
Dixon, his sister Margaret's husband, 92 1/2 acres of land in Monroe Co. TN.
He along wit brothers Lewis and S. M. Rhea sold this land which had belonged
to their father.

James RHEA, born 1-Jan-1810. James died Jasper Co., MO.

4.Margaret Ann RHEA (1.Jesse1 ) born 27-May-1832, married 15-Nov-1859, Onslow
M. DIXON, born 1-Feb-1833, TN, died 20-Aug-1873. Margaret died 16-Mar-1919.
Her family is outlined in the book McMinn Co. TN and its People 1819-1997.
After her husband suffered heat stroke while working in the wheat fields and
died in 1873, she bought a farm on Old Athens Road near Madisonville. She and
son Lewis lived there until her death. Onslow: Apprenticed to James Baker in
McMinn Co. TN in June 1837, binding him at the age of 4. Appears in the 1850
TN census at 17 as a farmer in the household of James and Julia Baker. 1860
Monroe Co. TN census shows OM Dixon and wife M.A. Dixon both age 28. On Sept
15, 1860 Onslow bought land from H. Hunt in McMinn Co. TN where the 1870
census shows he and his wife in 6th Distict wtih 4 chidren all born in TN.
Onslow was a private in Co. C 62nd TN Mounted Infantry in 1863.
