Samuel Audley Rhea was a noted Presbyterian missionary to the peoples of
Persia and Kurdistan. His life and mission is extensively chronicled in the
book The Tennessean in Persia and Koordistan by Dwight Marsh published in
1869. One of his grandsons was Foster Rhea Dulles, a noted historian,
professor and author. To complement his listing from 7 Feb 1999 I am
