Yes. It is the same person. It would be most intresting to discover the
descendants of John and James Jr .The fact that Aaron Ray/Rea and William
Collings are mentioned in the same document is very intresting. If Aaron is
the son of John Rea, William Collings Rea would be his uncle. The first of WC
Rea's children was born in 1770.Supposing WC Rea was 20 yrs old at this
birth he would have been born abt 1750 showing a significant period of
friendship between the 2 familiesOn further down the line Charity Rea the
dau of Abner Rea (the son of WC Rea) married a gentleman by the name of
Robert Rea in Franklin Cty Illinois abt 1840.The only info I have been able
to gather is that he was born in Tennessee.Warren County I believe is where
he was born .Anner and family were there in 1820 .They are listed on the
membership rolls of a Baptist church there along with an Aaron
Rea,deceased.I believe that Robert may have been the son of this Aaron Rea.
Any info regarding John, James , ane your Aaron would be grteatly appreciated.
