Ricky, Here is a message that came to me several months ago. Poses more
questions than it answers. How many James Reas could there have been in
Henry County? I wonder if this Elizabeth May be the daughter of your James
and Elizabeth Dula?
My Rea relationship is as follows : James and Johanna Rea - William C. Rea
and Wiinifred Wilson - Abner Rea and Alsey Hopper - Charity Rea and Robert
Rea ( the mystery in my line. Suspect Robert was also Charity's first
cousin)-Simon Rea and Arrena Eubanbks- Robert Ray and Annie Lowe- JD Ray and
Betty Hawkins - Me.Family went from Henry County Va. to Warren County Tenn
and into Franklin Cty Illinois by 1840.

I have a document from Henry Co., VA, naming Elizabeth Rea/Ray and her husband
John Stacy. This is a divorce document, dated 1809. They had Caroline Stacy,
and James Rea/Ray was made guardian of the child when John left the area in
1810. James from family lore was the father of Elizabeth Ray. This family
migrated to Henry Co., VA from Brunswick Co., VA. Don't know if this helps,
but just in case someone out there needs that bit of info.
