Dennis,
I am descended from REA. Johnston REA with brother Joseph, sister (?),
and mother Lucinda who emigrated to Canada in 1818, then to PA in 1820.
Johnston and Joseph settled in Ohio. Lucinda is found in the 1850 census
living with Joseph in Ohio. This family is from Co. Fermanagh, Ireland.
I also watch this list, for a "just in case".
I have copied the birth and christenings, from LDS, for the various
spellings of REA from Ireland. There are 38 pages. Some of the spellings
are REA, RHEA, WRAY, REAGH, REE, RAY, REY, and REAY. I was appalled to
read from the response that they would not look up anything for a person
unless they were a member. If there is a name (give me an approximate
date) that you would like me to look up I would be glad to ....... no
money involved. I went to quite an expense to copy this, but I felt that
others in the North of Ireland had helped me (don't think I had posted
here) and I wanted to be able to help others. Do Unto
Others..............
