At some point in time, there were Simonton and Turk families in Sussex
Co., DE. If I'm not mistaken, there was also a smattering of Rays/Rheas
or something like that there also.

I'm surprised to see someone born 1690 in Augusta Co., VA. Were people
in this area this early? Was Augusta Co., VA., formed by this time? I
think Augusta Co., VA., was formed about 1745 from Orange which was
formed about 1734 and Orange was formed from Spotsylvania which was
formed about 1721. Spotsylvania was formed from Essex which was formed
about 1692 and Essex came from Rappahannock (1656-1692.
