Keen and Hannah Holme, his wife; William Montgomery and Mary Rhea, his

Amos Scudder enlisted as a private and rose to the rank of ensign. He
acted as guide to the army at Trenton and served to the close of the
war. He died in 1824.

William Montgomery, although a Quaker, took up arms and commanded a
company of the Second Monmouth County Regiment and in 1777 he was
promoted to major.
David Hay served as lieutenant and James Newell as sergeant when the
State was overrun by the British.
Robert Rhea was a private in the Light Dragoons.
