Keeping the theme of the petition of several inhabitants above the Monocacy to the Governor that Pat sent today, I am wondering if anyone out there is researching Luke Ray of Berkeley, VA who appears to be the same Luke Ray of Prince Georges, MD.

Luke and Swearingen Ray witnessed the will of William Green written in Nov 1776 and Swearingen Ray and Mary Ray witnessed the will of Dinah Green in Jul 1800. I know that Swearingen was also a prominent name in Prince George in in the 1720s and 1730s. Does anyone have knowledge of any of the Berkeley Rays eventually migrating to Greenbriar or Monroe WV area? The Luke Ray of Bedford does not appear to be one in the same although he too may have been from Maryland.
