Here's another family group sheet from my files. update 11-1989
by Nancy Hawkins Buell, Brookline, MA She says several Rheas, including an
Ezekiel Rhea, appear in the records of Warren Co. Ky in the early 1800's,just
before our Ezekiel Rhea is found in White Co. TN.

Family of Ezekiel and Betsy RHEA

Ezekiel RHEA/ RAY"from Virginia", married Elizabeth "Betsy" PRYOR, resided in
White Co, TN. He died in White Co in 1811. By 1820 Betsy married Smith
Hutchings, and they moved to MO, where Hutchings died. She returned to White
Co & lived with son Wm.P. Rhea. Known children of Ezekiel and Betsy Rhea:

1. William Pryor RHEA b. 1792 VA, d. White Co, TN 23 Dec. 1856, bur. in
Rhea/Howard Cem.; m. Mary Ann WHITSON.

2. Sebird Smith RHEA b. 12 Feb 1795 VA, m. Nancy COOKE (b SC 1797), d. Mercer
Co, MO 2 Feb 1878

3. Moses RHEA b. 21 Oct 1799 VA, d 16 Sept 1852 Marion Co., AR.; m. Martha
Vianna (Ann) AUSTIN (parents may have been William Austin and Rebecca mercer)
b. 28 Oct 1801 Ky, d. 19 Nov 1858 Yellville, Marion Co, AR, bur. Jefferson
Cem. west of Yellville. They resided in Wayne Co. TN until sometime after 1840
when they moved to AR.

4. Elizabeth RHEA b. 1796 VA, m. on 1 Aug 1822 to William J. RAY (d 1839 MO),
d. 1839 Platte Co, MO

5. Mahala RHEA m. Levi LOLLAR, d. 1854 MO

6. Mary (?) RHEA m. Robert R. TUCKER, moved to IL

7. ?Cynthia RHEA m. William EDWARDS, moved to IL

8. Ezekiel RHEA b. c1811, m. Elizabeth "Polly" WOODS, moved to Bates Co. MO.
