>From Claiborne county Historical society Magazine Fall 1990

John Rhea M. Febra ?
he lived in Rhea hollow off Clinch River.
John b. 176? d. 1848
Issue:
!.Joseph (Methodist Minister) M. Nancy Norcross
2.Aquilla b. 1790
3.Priscilla b. 1790 M. John Mc Collom
4.John R. b.1804 M. Lucy Anderson
5. Sarah b. 1808 M. John Seal (son of John Hawker Seal)
6.Andrew b. 1809 m. Ellenor Millikan d. 1853 Hamilton
7. Celia b. 1811 d. 1830 m. Thomas Frost
I feel that the date for Celia is wrong based on the 1850 Hancock County
Census Where she is shown as 47 yearsa old. With Thomas and her children.
The Grohse Collection found at SLC states that Thomas Frost was claiming an
inheritance for their children from the estate of. John her father who died
in 1848.The executor was Andrew Rhea. I am of the belief that Celia died
about 1850. Their son John Ray Frost is my Great grand father.

According to this same magazine Most of these Rheas are buried in the Rhea
Hollow Cemetary.

Any one who can add or detract from this information please contact me. Has
any one been to this Rhea hollow or the cemetary found therein. Has any one
heard of the name Febra. This lady is supposed to be a cherokee Indian. If
any one knows any places on the web to find out more about the history of
Hawkins?hancock area I would love to know this too..................Jodi in
Denver
