Subject: [RHEA-L] James Rhea, son of Rev'd Joseph Rhea

In a recent posting to the list, I believe there is a slight confusion
concerning common Rhea names: Margaret Rhea and Elizabeth Rhea. Margaret
Rhea the d/o James Rhea married John Pemberton Snapp and there is no Elizabeth
known as the daughter of James Rhea. This is according to Notable Southern
Families, 1922. It was James' brother Joseph who had the two daughters in
question: Margaret Rhea who married Isaac Campbell Anderson and Elizabeth
Rhea who married Audley Anderson(brother of Isaac C. Anderson). The data on
the List concerning these two's descendants seem to be accurate(with the
exception of their parentage), although I cannot confirm all the descendant
information. I would very much like to add more complete descendant
information for all the sons of the Rev'd Joseph Rhea, which is in the scope
of Team 4, and I I am serving as team leader,(but not the only genealogist of
this branch!!
