Hi Team,
Since my last message the following news has come in:
1. Carol Akeyson gives specific dates for 4 David Rhea (3 Thomas, 2
William, 1 William) as follows: birth 2/28/1838 in Green Co., KY; death
1914; marriage 1/1/1856 in LaMotte, IA to Sarah Jane Blake for whom: birth
c1833 in IN; and death 5/11/1912 in Maquoketa, IA.
2. Robert Perry Rhea quotes David's age as 12 in the 1850 Census,
corroborating the foregoing.
3. My list included a Nancy Winne Bullock (m. a Thomas Rhea). RPR quotes
her tombstone to the effect that her name was finally Mary Winne.
4. There is some controversy about whether Mary Elizabeth Gay had a middle
name. I am continuing to believe that she did.
5. Any further comments about my descendance chart for Bill and Betty will
be welcome here. If your data differ from mine, however, be sure to tell me
where you got your information.
6. After a while (weeks, not days) I will declare the editing process
finished and offer to send an updated copy of the final chart directly to
whoever asks for one.
