I'm interested in all the Daniel Rays in your line, especially in gen. 3 &
4. Do you have more information about them? My Daniel Ray m. Sarah
Robins, and lived in East Texas by 1851 and moved to Travis Co., TX after
the Civil War. Children: Mary Angelina (m. J.S.B. Smith), Ben L. (m.
Electa Ann Stearns), Martha Jane (m. John Stevens), Charity (maybe m.
Ward), L. Franklin (m. Lucy Dearing), and Lady Margaret (m. 1- Will Munn,
m. 2-Posey Anderson). Family tradition says Daniel fought in the Civil War
- presumably CSA, but I haven't been able to confirm that yet. Anything
sound familiar?
