This concludes the 1830 census. There were 2673 whites north of the river,
1172 slaves north, 11 free colored north; 4259 whites south, 519 slaves
south and 2 free for a total population of 6932 whites, 1691 slaves and 13
free colored. This was submitted by William R Barrett, Assistant to the
Marshall of the District of Columbia.
I'll start in on the 1840 shortly.
