Do you have your father's death certificate? On it, will list tons of
information, including his parents, place of birth, etc. From there,
you can order his birth certificate which will verify and possibly give
you more information. You can also check census records from that time
period...these are available on microfilm or in books you can view or
order at your nearest Mormon church geneology site...you don't have to
be a member to do research there. Good luck and hope this will be of
